High School NEVER Ends

Well we got through one semester of High School. Last time I talked about high school was here. At the end of that post I said I felt like it was going to be a good year. Well I'm not sure what I was thinking. Sure the year has progressively gotten better, but still. High School isn't what I thought it was going to be.

There are more freedoms, but it doesn't feel the same. I have met a lot of new people and made new friends. When I was in Jr. High people used to tell me that the drama gets better in High School; FALSE! It gets worse. All I really knew about High School was what I saw in the movies. Why can't high school be like the movies?

One day I was listening to Pandora and this song called HIGH SCHOOL NEVER ENDS by Bowling for soup came on. It made sense. I couldn't stop listening to it. It was creepy how true it was.

One week later.........

I started this post last week. It's amazing how much can happen in a week. Who would have thought that High School could improve so much in 1 week? The new semester began and everything seemed to fall into place. Monday and Tuesday were the best 2 days of my high school existence.

I have at least one good friend in every class. Most classes have more than one. I even ended up in a class with Julie, which was not planned, but will be very GREAT!

Kaydee and I are kind of creepers, but it's like whatev. Sometimes we see reesty couples making out in the hall and others dramatically looking at each other. I mean really how much better can it get? We also enjoy talking to 'Wittle baby Andrew. Sometimes we also go to the bathroom at the same times even though we're in the same class and run into 'Wittle baby Aubrie (she HATES when we call her that.) This week we also began co-parenting Celest. Celest in a my little pony. We love her.

So I basically LOVE my English class. I feel like we are a tight knit family. We really all know each other and it's great! Mattie and I have fun trying to get Brian's number that he really doesn't want us to have. One of these days it will happen I'm determined.

I may not understand Math, but I love that class. KP changed our seats and put Mattie and I across the room from each other, not cool. He went ahead and imitated us it went something like this.....

"Mattie, I don't get this. Oh my gosh that was so funny the other day." -KP imitating me

It was creepily accurate. I thought Mattie and I actually worked and then talked in that class. Apparently our teacher thinks differently.

I can't forget Physics. Oh dear! This class sometimes makes me want to die. I don't think I would make it through that class if Kaydee and Brylee weren't in there. We have been working on balloons. Mack has transferred out of physics because the teacher is not a nice man, but while he was in this class it was GREAT! He will be missed.

I'm also taking peer tutor. I took that class in 8th and 9th grade. We went on a field trip yesterday to Capelli's and Taco Amigo. While the kid I was working with got his hair done he couldn't stop laughing. He thought it was the funniest thing ever. I love kids with disabilities. They accept you for who you are and you don't have to worry about them judging you.

;

I won't go through every class, because we would be here for a while, but this semester is going to be GREAT! This is the real High School that I've always dreamed it would be.

The whole damn world is just as obsessed
with who's the best dressed and whose having sex
who's got the money who gets the honeys
and who's throwing up before they digest

I love that song.

Have you heard their song "1985"?

Your mother is too young for 1985, but I was 25 in 1985, and that was my LIFE, honey. Bowling for Soup is AWESOME.

Hope it's OK for me to comment (but I prolly won't much, 'cause I read in an RSS feed.) Just wanted you to know I think you are the bomb and I'm reading...
